Welcome to my Pilot Journey

The cool Korean-Australian female pilot used to fly in West Papua and Papua New Guinea

ABOUT SAMANTHA

Kind Heart / Positive Mind / Brave Spirit

Hi and Welcome!
My name is Samantha Lee. I am a Korean-Australian who loves flying, drinking coffee, weight-lifting, smiling and laughing, taking selfies with bush kids, and travelling.
I am also a warm, energetic, happy and fun-loving person.

I am proud of myself for being a female pilot. Currently, I work for Qantas based in Australia, but my heart is always in bush flying. Hence, this website was created for everyone.

My bush pilot journey started with a flying job in Western Australia, helping the Australian Indigenous. I am passionate about helping others. I feel honoured to be able to use my skills assisting the people in need.

The journey continued with Susi Air, in Indonesia and West Papua. I was mainly based in Manokwari, Sentani, Merauke, and Nabire in West Papua. You might remember Susi Air from "the worst place to be a pilot" TV show. That was my company!

Before Qantas, I concluded my bush flying with Hevilift based in Papua New Guinea. I loved every bit of flying as well as meeting new people in the bush who haven't even seen an Asian before!

My passion is to share my flying stories through my blog. Hope you enjoy!
