One of the best things about my job is flying with many pilots from all over the world. Captains are often permanently based in one or two bases and First Officers are assigned to experience all the bases in the company. It definitely gives a great opportunity to explore each base and to get to know new crew.

The majority of our pilots are Australians and South Africans. We have good communities for each nationality which I think is one thing that we all need, especially being out here in the jungle. We also have Indonesians (of course), English, New Zealander, Chinese, Brazilians, Europeans, and many more!

I am thankful that I have met so many wonderful people with such amazing experiences in their flying life and hearing some of their stories makes time fly. We also have fun to exploring Indonesia after work or on the weekends!
